At Box Table Studios we believe in intellectual property. We have six utility patents and are always working on more! We want to work with you to use our ideas to help you create beautiful designs that help your users Store, Move and Use their things.

Patent No. 10,005,480. A Box with wheels that has a side (or door) with extendable legs so that it can be used as a table. Summary: Any Box with wheels that has at least one side that is detachable, and that detachable side has extendable legs. The “detachable side” could be a door.

Patent No. 10,123,612. “Retractable Support Member” The Nesting Pull Out Leg is a unique leg design that can be used with folding tables, awnings, and more. Any support member (leg) that is operated by a user pushing one button to release it, then sliding it depressed the other button which releases the lockout mechanism. The unique locking mechanism allows a user to more easily retract the telescoping segments for storage.

Patent No. 10,244,863. This is for a unique folding shelf that can be used in the Box Table, or for any type of shelving unit. The shelf folds so that it can be easily moved from one location to another even when there are front brackets on each side of the shelving unit to prevent the shelf from sliding out, such as in cabinets with doors. Perfect for use in any boat, travel trailer, or RV.

Patent No. 10,315,674. Portable storage device with pivoting wheel assemblies, which permit the entire storage device to be more easily packed into tight fitting spots. This builds on our original Box Table design, a storage box with retractable tables that has wheels which are moveable and/or fold for easy storage.

Patent No. 10,527,221. Apparatus for Storing and Transporting Items. This is the Austin Table design. It specifically covers the three table surfaces of the Austin table, the slots on the bottom and top shelf and the teeth on the middle shelf that create different heights, with a locking mechanism to lock the three shelves in place. This applies whether the table has no wheels or any wheel configuration.

Patent No. 10,647,341. The Box Table with various configurations of extendable handles for moving the Box Table over various surfaces and optionally strapping other items along with it.

Box Table Design Services: Our original product that started it all is called the Box Table. Through the process of creating it we created our first two patents, the Door with Legs and the Retractable Leg. We have a small shop and are not able to produce Box Tables in economical quantities, but we would love to help you produce them! Please let us know if you would like to make Box Tables, either out aluminum as we designed it, or out of any other material - steel, plastic or carbon fiber. We are happy to help you with design, engineering and Solidworks for any of these designs.
